I rarely give testimonials, but I feel the need to give one for Lamberto Pico - Appliance Medic Service. I found his ad on Craigslist and emailed him about my dryer that had started screeching. He emailed back that it was probably a bearing and would cost about $80 to fix. So, I made an appointment for the next day. He arrived and started working and replaced the bearing and cleaned and lubed the dryer. Tested it and it sounded fine. I paid him $79.55 (just under his estimate) and he was ready to leave and then tested the dryer again. It made the screeching sound again. He then discovered that the bearing in the motor was screeching. He had a used motor in his van. I asked him how much it would be to install it. He said to me "No Extra Charge". I was amazed at that. I called Appliance Medic Service after receiving another quote from a different company to repair my front load washer. I felt the first quote was a little inflated, so I called Lamberto at Appliance Medic Service to see if he would be willing to give me a quote over the phone.
